I got really bogged down in all the stuff about the battle over the Supreme Court and haven't picked it up since. Does anyone know if it's just a bump in the road where the book's readability is concerned? I'm hoping the second half won't prove less engaging than the first half was up to that point.
Abandoning this for now, but will definitely come back to it.

I'm still engrossed in this, and totally in awe of the parallels. Reading now about FDR's first hundred days at the same time as watching the Obama transition. Incredible.

I'm getting a surprisingly big kick out of the fact that Barack Obama and I are reading the same book.

So far one of the most engaging -- and entertaining -- bios I've read. Entertaining on account of all the colorful anecdotes.

I do wish this was published in two volumes. It's excellent, so far, but a monster to pick up every night.
