I just discovered this book in my library and am loving it. Quirky but interesting characters. Reading this book is a pleasure--and it's a long one, but it reads quite fast.

Loved her first two of these type of novel, but this one was lacking in some way for me.

I really enjoyed this book. There's not much of a plot, but the characters are wonderfully drawn and the whole British atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!!

Not sure how I feel about this book. There's a similarity to Joan Didion's book, Year of Magical Thinking, but I didn't like this one as much. It's well written and clearly reflects quite eloquently the author's feelings and life after losing her husband, but it's a bit too esoteric for me. Anyway, I'm still not sure about the book.

I've never read anything by this author, but this book is quite humorous and clever 100 pages into it.
