This was a fun story. After hearing about a rash of burglaries in the neighborhood of this country house, Geoffrey goes to check on his house only to find the burglar reading a book in his library. With an impending snowstorm, Geoffrey must spend Christmas day snowbound with the thief and the thief's sister, who has no idea her brother is a thief and with whom Geoffrey is falling in love.
9 months agoI get so engrossed in Stephen King novels; I devour them.
9 months agoI'm not a pet person, so I don't always get the special relationships people have with animals. I would recommend this for dog-lovers.

10 months agoA cute Christmas story, but not the best mystery I've read.

10 months agoI love Christmas, but it's so hard to find a really good Christmas book. I finished A Christmas Guest, which is the first novel in the book and another Christmas story with one-dimensional characters and a hit-you-over-the-head moral.

10 months agoThe characters seemed one-dimensional, and the plot seemed rather choppy at times.

10 months agoI liked this book, although it was rather depressing. Very "Gatsbyesque."
11 months agoThis had an interesting concept, showing what led up to a school-shooting, but I did not like the ending at all. The author always has a surprise twist at the end, but this one was not satisfying.
