I'm only about 70 pages in and am now dealing with the final, final stages of my thesis so it and everything else I'm reading it put aside for awhile. But I picked it up a couple of nights ago, read a chapter and was delighted to be reading it again, so that's a good sign.

This was my first Readerville recommendation, I think. I loved it in the way you warm to a person -- gradually, over the course of the story, and when I was done it stayed with me a while. Such a WARM book.

After avoiding this for a long time out of fear it wouldn’t live up to its reputation, I finally read it and was sorry when it was over. I wish someone had warned me not to read the final stretch of it on the ferry. I was supressing gasps, laughs, tears, all of it. I had to go sit in a bagel shop and read the last five pages before running (literally) to my appointment because I couldn't leave it unfinished until afterwards, so then I was the girl trying not to cry in the bagel shop and got to my appt late and flustered.
