A pleasure from the first line (parody of Camus? "Mother died today, or was it yesterday?") Funny, puerile at times, sweet and wise and a load of memorable characters. Seems written for easy transition to film-- now on Spielberg's List.

This Is Where I Leave You
Compulsively readable but not really as amazing as I expected it to be. But thoroughly entertaining. A little let down by the ending. I really empathized with Tracy, Alice, and Wendy. Couldn't quite see what Judd saw in Penny or Jen.
